GUERRIERI WINERY

With the same look and the same smile, five generations dedicated to Nature, Land and Man. Land containing grapevines: 48 hectares. The largest section lies on the eastern bank of the Metauro River, where the vineyards and arable lands are. Its formation consists of grayish calcareous mud, which turns light blue just a few meters deep. The vegetative soil is predominantly silty clay loam with small carbonate nodules originating from water erosion and from the transformation of inorganic vegetative matter into humus. Vineyards face south-southeast at 200 meters above sea level which stretches across 48 hectares of land.

White Grapes: Bianchello – Verdicchio – Chardonnay – Moscato – Sauvignon.
Red Grapes : Sangiovese – Montepulciano – Lacrima– Cabernet Sauvignon.

Bianchello

Vinification and Maturation:

Soft pneumatic pressing to preserve the integrity of the grapes. Vinification in white after cold static decantation and thermo-controlled fermentation.

Tasting Notes:

Color: White wine with straw-yellow color.

Bouquet: Harmonious and enjoyable witha low grade of alcohol. Scent of peach, white pear and white flowers.

Flavor: Clean and fresh on the palate.

Serving Suggestions: Perfect through the entire meal, ideal with fish or with meat. Excellent as aperitif.

Pesaresi

Vinification and Maturation:

100% Sangiovese. Red vinification with maceration of the grapes.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Ruby red wine

Bouquet: Intense aroma of cherries and raspberries.

Flavor: Young, fresh and aromatic.

Serving Suggestions: Excellent with meat, small game, cold cuts, and cheese.

Guerriero Nero

Vinification and Maturation:

Blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon. Long maceration and controlled fermentation. Refined 10 months in French oak barrels and for further 6-8 months in bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Intense ruby red wine.

Bouquet: Persistent structure. It is elegant and complex with scents of violets, vanilla, cacao, spices and menthol tobacco.

Flavor: Elegant and complex.

Serving Suggestions: Excellent with red meat and game.
